Primary Function:
Under the direction of the Contract Supervisor, the Custodian is responsible for maintaining good custodial practices throughout the properties using the appropriate tools and equipment.

Requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly;
Must be able to use vacuum, mop, broom and other cleaning equipment;

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff members;
Must be a team player but recognize individual responsibilities;
Good work ethic;
Able to work under minimal supervision;
Able to follow instructions and comply with policies and procedures.
Must pass TSA security clearance when applicable
Must be screened for verifiable disabilities when applicable
Must provide any additional medical records needed when applicable
Qualifications:
Custodial/Janitorial experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements:
While performing this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. Most activities involve repetitive upper body movement and bending. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (unless otherwise restricted).
Must have good hand-eye coordination.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Typical Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee works primarily indoors and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate;
Will possibly be working alongside and/or managing others with social, mental, and emotional disabilities.

Primary Function:
Under the direction of the Contract Supervisor, the Custodian is responsible for maintaining good custodial practices throughout the properties using the appropriate tools and equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Performs custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and order in lobby, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, parting lots, elevators, escalators and other areas;
- Sweep, mop, scrub, clean, remove trash, dust, polish furniture and floors;
- Maintain all restrooms; keep all toiles clean and sanitary;
- Maintain adequate supply of soap, towels and toilet tissues in restrooms;
- Vacuum all carpeted areas;
- Dust and wipe down countertop, desk and work areas daily;
- Clean floors, as necessary;
- Wash windows and walls as necessary;
- Empty and clean all trashcans and replace liners on a daily basis;
- Report malfunctions of plumbing and lighting to Supervisor;
- Follow all safety procedures; Report accidents/injuries and safety concerns to the supervisor;
- Maintain an acceptable attendance records;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
