Essential functions and responsibilities may vary based on operational requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport products and materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, quality, and condition of products against shipping documents.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations and maintain proper inventory organization.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for shipment or delivery according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or damage immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, warehouse safety procedures, and company operational standards.
- Ensure security and proper handling of company assets and inventory.
- Support other warehouse and logistics functions as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment required.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math, counting, and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations, dust, and noise.
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as applicable.
