We are seeking a Housekeeper to add to our dynamic team!
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, tubs and showers, day rooms
- Clean offices, classrooms, public areas, laundry rooms, and nurses' stations
- Clean all fixtures and accessories in all areas
- Vacuum and spot clean all carpeted areas
- Sweep and mop all tile and concrete areas
- Pull and empty trash
- Replenish paper towels, soap, toilet paper and liquid soap, as needed
- Water shrubs and plants inside the facility
- Issue linens and ensure adequate linen supply by taking regular inventories
- Monitor inventory of housekeeping chemicals and supplies and report to Supervisor
- Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-worker, managers, clients and prospective clients
- Must be able to work in constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner
- Regular attendance
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
- Must be able to push carts, equipment, and supplies to all areas of facility
- Must be able to lift trash and linen weighing from 25 to 35 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb
- Must be able to use mops, brooms, vacuums, wall washing equipment and high dusting equipment, which would require working below waist level up to overhead level
- Must be able to see at 20/40 corrected in each eye
- Walk within the facility approximately three (3) miles per 8 hr. shift
