Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Pay: $25+ Hourly, Based on Experience
Travel & night work may be required. MUST be able to work out of town and nights, on occasion.
Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels, instrumentation, SCADA systems, underground conduit, and duct bank systems.
- Install and terminate conduit, wiring, feeders, and electrical equipment for treatment processes, lift stations, and facility infrastructure.
- Diagnose electrical and control system issues using testing equipment and hand tools to safely restore system operation.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for hazards, defects, and code compliance.
- Perform testing of electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, and power distribution equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Coordinate with supervisors, operators, engineers, and other trades to support plant operations and project activities.
- Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and site-specific safety standards.

Requirements – Water & Wastewater Treatment Electrician:
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience preferred, with experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems including motors, pumps, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.
- Experience installing and maintaining conduit systems, underground conduit, duct banks, feeders, and power distribution equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical specifications.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and control systems using standard testing equipment and hand tools.
- Knowledge of NEC requirements, electrical safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ability to work safely in active industrial, water treatment, and wastewater treatment environments.
- Capable of lifting materials, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces when required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Class A CDL *Preferred* (Must have had for at least 3 years).
Physical Demands
Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, digging using a shovel, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
