We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a variety of technology infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, security, and telecommunications projects from planning through implementation.
This role will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, vendor demonstrations, RFP/RFQ processes, procurement, budgeting, contracts, quality assurance, testing, training, implementation, go-live support, and project documentation.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects and be comfortable coordinating across technical teams, end users, leadership, vendors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a variety of technology infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, security, and telecommunications projects from planning through implementation.
This role will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, vendor demonstrations, RFP/RFQ processes, procurement, budgeting, contracts, quality assurance, testing, training, implementation, go-live support, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle IT projects and/or individual project workstreams from planning through implementation and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, project schedules, scopes of work, Gantt charts, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate the research, evaluation, purchase, delivery, and implementation of hardware, software, equipment, and professional services.
- Support procurement activities including vendor demonstrations, quotes, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, purchasing, contracts, and related documentation.
- Coordinate internal technical teams, end users, vendors, consultants, and leadership throughout project execution.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation and as-built drawings using Microsoft Visio.
- Coordinate testing, quality assurance, implementation activities, user training, documentation, and go-live support.
- Manage vendor and contractor activities to ensure project milestones, schedules, quality standards, and implementation requirements are met.
- Track project schedules, deliverables, issues, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates and communicate potential risks, delays, or implementation concerns to leadership.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and drive initiatives through successful completion.
- Perform other project-related duties as needed.

- Software licensing and compliance
- Audio/visual technologies and Crestron control systems
- Network inventory and network data-flow diagrams
- Power and cabling requirements
- Routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VoIP phones, servers, and related network infrastructure
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies and the technology implementation lifecycle.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple technical teams, vendors, contractors, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
- Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, risks, and dependencies.
- Ability to take ownership of projects or project components with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated emotional intelligence.
- Ability to facilitate group discussions, resolve issues, and guide stakeholders toward productive decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully taking technology projects from planning through implementation.
- Working knowledge of formal purchasing and procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- 3+ years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects, with the required level of experience considered in combination with the candidate's education and overall technical background.
- Degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through key phases including requirements gathering, analysis, planning, testing, implementation, and go-live.
- Experience coordinating across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Proven ability to independently manage project priorities, timelines, documentation, risks, and deliverables through successful completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
- 7+ years of project management experience, particularly within IT infrastructure or technology environments.
- Experience managing infrastructure projects involving networking, telecommunications, structured cabling, security systems, video surveillance, data centers, or related technologies.
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors and contractors through installation and implementation projects.
- Experience with technology procurement, vendor selection, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract coordination.
- Working knowledge of network inventory, network diagrams, power requirements, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VoIP systems, servers, and related infrastructure.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework preferred.
- This is an on-site position.
- Work is primarily performed within a professional office and technology environment.
- The role may require coordination with technical teams and vendors at various project or installation locations.
- Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
- May occasionally be required to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to approximately 10 pounds.
- Standard business hours are expected, with occasional after-hours, evening, weekend, or holiday work depending on project implementation, cutover, or go-live requirements.
