This is a high‑visibility role at the intersection of Procurement, Travel Management, Digital/IT, and regional stakeholders, blending category strategy, supplier performance management, analytics, and integration. You bring strong market knowledge, a data‑driven mindset, and enthusiasm for leveraging digital and AI‑enabled solutions to optimize value and end-user experience.

We are looking for a Mobility Services Commodity Manager-Group Travel & Events. This is a hybrid position located in Orlando, FL, or Atlanta, GA.

  • Tailor strategy to regional market dynamics and business needs; conduct market scans to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across global lodging markets.

Data, Technology & Innovation

  • Leverage best-in-class travel, event, and procurement technologies (booking/content platforms, BI/analytics tools, automated sourcing solutions) to improve transparency and speed.
  • Integrate AI‑driven analytics (e.g., price trends, value leakage detection, demand clustering, decision support) to inform sourcing and in‑year optimization.
  • Implement leading-edge data quality standards as the foundation for reporting, dashboards, and strategic steering.

Sourcing, RFPs & Commercials

  • Support or lead regional RFPs/RFQs, including market analysis, bid evaluation, scenario modeling, and contract negotiations with hotel aggregators, chains , and regional/local partners.
  • Structure and manage framework agreements that secure competitive rates, value‑add inclusions, and service commitments across priority cities and corridors.

Supplier & Performance Management

  • Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., cost, usage, availability, quality, compliance, sustainability) and run regular performance/QBR cadences with suppliers.
  • Drive continuous improvement using spend, booking, market, and utilization data; translate insights into clear optimization actions (market mix, property tiers, length‑of‑stay strategies).

Program Operations & Governance

  • Partner with Travel Operations to ensure accurate rate loading, auditing, and content integrity across IT platforms; steer booking behavior and channel strategy to improve adoption and compliance.
  • Align with Security & Duty of Care teams on vetted properties and risk standards; support policy design and exception governance.
  • Embed supplier diversity and responsible sourcing standards into the accommodation portfolio.

Sustainability & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Integrate ESG and sustainability criteria into supplier selection and contract design (energy/water, certifications, reporting).
  • Collaborate closely with Global Travel Management, Digital/IT, regional procurement, and international business stakeholders to align portfolio choices with traveler needs and project timelines.
