The Recruiting Coordinator's primary objective is to support the planning, implementation and maintenance of talent acquisition. The Recruiting Specialist will support the sourcing, prescreening, scheduling and overall process of moving a candidate to offer letter status. They will work closely with Human Resource team members, as well as hiring managers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Sources and reaches out to qualified candidates for current open positions
• Serves as a go-between for candidates and hiring managers
• Conducts initial phone screens with qualified candidates
• Screens applications in applicant tracking system and coordinates interviews, maintaining a positive candidate experience
• Familiarizes candidates on corporate benefit programs and be knowledgeable to answer questions as needed
• Completes prescreening interview summaries
• Assists with creating and publishing ads in various portals
• Networks with educational institutions and other professional groups
• Tracks hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time to fill position and source of hire
• Assists in the management of respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
• Hosts and participates in job fairs when deemed appropriate
• Provides support to the HR on-boarding team as needed
• Assists with the promotion and implementation of leadership and team member appreciation
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate
GENERAL COMPENTENCIES DESIRED

• Knowledge of sourcing techniques and portals in which to post ads
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and self-motivated

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Required eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone. Calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires the ability to work under stressful conditions.
CREDENTIALS DESIRED
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred. Minimum of three years' relevant working experience in Human Resources required.
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm ; Friday 8am - 2pm
