We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to develop clear, accurate, and structured documentation in support of a large-scale IT modernization program. This role is onsite and primarily focused on producing high-quality technical content while also supporting documentation governance, consistency, and compliance across the program.

- Develop, update, and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, data flows, configuration guides, user manuals, and operational procedures.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and well-structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all documentation meets high standards for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Apply and follow established documentation templates, style guides, and formatting standards.
- Review and proofread content for technical accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to analyze system requirements, extract key information, and produce accurate, detailed technical documentation.
- Support documentation governance processes including version control, approvals, and audit readiness.
- Maintain proper documentation structure, traceability, and organization within centralized repositories.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in IT, software development, or system implementation environments.
- Strong experience developing technical documentation such as system specs, user guides, and process documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including templates, styles, and structured formatting.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and document technical concepts, system interactions, and workflows.
- Experience working with content management systems and version control practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
- Experience working on large-scale IT or system modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience supporting documentation in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
