Essential Functions:
- Speak compassionately to homeowners about their homeowner's insurance claims/loss drafts
- Processing and monitoring all insurance claims/loss drafts
- Handling of claims funds for disbursements to pay for repairs
- Develop workable solutions that satisfy our homeowners, our client/investors, and our company
- Work in multiple systems, such as MS, MSP, and Encompass
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with homeowners about their claims/loss drafts
- Strong organizational skills
- A strong work ethic, high integrity, and well-organized mindset
- The ability to follow instructions but work with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous Homeowners Insurance experience
- Mortgage processing experience
- High-school diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience working with regulatory guidelines preferred (i.e., FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, HUD, State, Local).
- Escrow processing knowledge
- At least one year of customer service/clerical/data entry experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of various mortgage loan types and mortgage servicing procedures. Good understanding of RESPA.
- Effective project management skills and the ability to proactively problem solve.
- Ability to pay attention to detail while handling a high volume of work with multiple interruptions
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Manufactured Housing
- 2 plus years working knowledge of Encompass
