Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of event tasks, including but not limited to the creation of site maps, timelines, RSVP invitations, decorations, setup, and teardown
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to communicate event logistics and support event planning and execution
- Maintain, properly store, and secure College-owned assets between events
- Effectively problem-solve before, during, and after events
- Compile post-event surveys and record recommendations for improvement
- Participate in event planning meetings as required
- Respond timely and with thoughtful feedback to questions from event attendees
- Ensure a high level of customer service for all event attendees
- Track day-of-event volunteer participation and maintain volunteer database
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School/equivalent and two years of experience
- Ability and desire to collaborate and communicate with staff, faculty, and leadership as required verbally, in writing, and in-person
- Ability to work with various team members, vendors, and volunteers in a professional and respectful manner
- Must have the ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications and technology
- Must have a flexible work schedule; event days and times will vary and often occur during evenings and weekends
- Must have reliable transportation to and from events
